Softball and volleyball are on tap next month in Waldron for a fund-raiser by the Class of 2011.

Tournament director Jeff Bernath is looking for a dozen men’s teams and eight women’s teams for the double-elimination event June 28-29 at the Waldron High School fields.

The cost is $125 a team and teams will hit their own ball. Teams are allowed two runs and subsequent homers will be ruled as outs.

 A trophy will go to the first-place team and ASA rules will be followed. Winners will receive free entry into Waldron’s Labor Day marathon.

A co-ed tournament might also be scheduled.
