Candidates file in Fulton County 8.26.09
The November ballots are nearly filled for voters in the Fayette and Lyons areas. With one exception, voters will see at least one candidate for each position.
The exception is the Fayette board of education where only one candidate filed to fill two slots. Incumbent Deb Leininger filed to seek another term on the board, but board members will have to appoint another member after Paula Schaffner’s term expires at the end of the year.
FAYETTE—Ruth Marlatt is the only candidate running for mayor. The term will expire Dec. 31, 2011. Marlatt currently serves as a council member and has served as mayor in the past.
Incumbents Kenneth Delphous and Julia Ruger will vie for one of four council seats. Other council candidates are Rodney Kessler, Eugene Rosinski, Paula Ferguson and Thomas V. Molitierno.

Incumbents Dale Hallett, John Arquette and Julie Fenicle will run for reëlection, although four council seats will need to be filled.
