Jeff has worked as a self-employed painting contractor for more than 35 years and Penny has worked for the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center for the past 21 years, serving as a truant officer for Fulton County Schools. She also owns Quaint Wedding Stationery & Accessories.

The couple celebrated with an Italian dinner prepared at their home by their three children, Kendra (and Jason) Batdorf, Hayley (and Nick) Tule, and Whitney (and Nick) Lavinder.  Their anniversary cake was decorated with love by their grandchildren, Lola and Karsyn Lavinder, Benjamin and Ella Tule, and Delaney Batdorf.

A larger celebration is being planned this summer at the family cottage on Nettle Lake.
