Sara Ann Garwood and Jacob Lee Petry have announced their engagement.

Sara is the daughter of Michael and Loretta Garwood. She is a 2007 graduate of Morenci Area High School and will graduate from Jackson Community College in August with a degree in medical billing. She is employed by Internal Medicine Associates of Adrian.

Jacob is the son of James and Cindy Petry. He is a 2005 Morenci Area High School graduate and is employed at Efficiency Production.

The couple is planning an Oct. 16, 2010, wedding at Seneca Community Church.
