Tyrel Averill and Melissa Godzik, both of Dickinson N.D., have announced their engagement.

Tyrel is the son of Beverly and Colby Averill. He is a graduate of Morenci Area High School and Jackson Community College. He is employed as a driver and merchandiser for Coca-Cola.

Melissa is the daughter of the late James Godzik. She is a graduate of Petoskey High School, North Central Michigan College, and the University of Phoenix. She is employed as a critical care registered nurse.

The couple is planning an October 10, 2010, wedding in southeast Ohio. The bride’s children, Mackenzie and Kian Godzik, will be in attendance.
