Special Olympics 2011.05.25

Several first-place finishes were earned by Morenci students during the Special Olympics at Adrian College last week.

Destinie Bailey earned first place in the standing long jump, softball throw, 50-meter race and 100-meter race.

Tory Clark took first in the standing long jump, 50-meter race and 100-meter race, and placed second in the softball throw.

Karl Bailey came in first in the 100-meter race and the softball throw, second in the standing long jump, and third in the 50-meter race.

Elliott Schmidt took first place in the softball throw and second place in the 100-meter race.

Hannah Bailey took a first place finish in the 50-meter race and a third place finish in the 100-meter race.

Thomas Hooker placed second in the 50-meter race, and took third in the softball throw and 100-meter race.
