Katelyn Joughin and Jacob Pennington have announced their engagement.

Katelyn is the daughter of Daniel and Carrie Joughin of Morenci. She is a 2009 Morenci Area High School graduate and is currently attending Watkins College of Art, Design and Film in Nashville, Tenn. She will earn a bachelor of fine arts degree with a concentration in graphic design in 2013.

Jacob is the son of Keith and Sheri Pennington of Morenci. He is a 2006 graduate of Lenawee Christian School and is currently attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online division. He will earn a bachelor of fine arts degree with a concentration in photography in 2013. He is currently employed as a manager at Computers Plus in Nashville, Tenn.

The couple is planning a Sept. 10, 2011, outdoor wedding at the home of the groom’s parents.
