Reba Rash wins Walter Scholarship 2012.03.21
Rebecca Rash was chosen as the Fayette High School recipient of the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship. She was honored at a banquet March 13.
The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center honored the Franklin B. Walter Scholarship winners from each of the 23 school districts in the four-county area. Winners also honored a teacher who has made an impact on their educational career.
Rash chose to honor agriculture teacher Pamela Schultz.
Each senior received a cash award and each county’s winner received $500. Local businesses, community members and staff members from Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center help finance the local scholarship program.
A special education teacher from each county was also honored for outstanding work with students.

Archbold—Chandler Tinsman, who honored Andrea Oyer;
Evergreen—Lauren Langenderfer, who honored Chris Lyons;
Pettisville—Tanner Hostetler, who honored Rebecca Dorosz;
Pike-Delta-York—Alexa Salsbury, who honored Stephanie Rayfield;
Swanton—Andrea Schroeder, who honored Joseph Nye;
Wauseon—Jessica Bachman, who honored Kim Hinton.
